We sat down for a conversation with Michelle Hougland, Founder of Paladin Global Market, to discuss her success in eCommerce. 17 years ago, Michelle was staring down the end of maternity leave and wondering how she could bear to leave her sweet baby girl at home... Though not many people were doing it at the time, she decided to take a leap, start a business, and work entirely online.
While we continue to have debates surrounding the efficacy and reliability of online, work-from-home models, there was a wave of women taking remote work by storm between the years 2000 and 2003. By 2003, “The number of women-owned startups out numbered men-owned startups by almost 2-to-1" (Small Business Trends).

However, because this was still a new trend, it tooik some innovation. In order to make this happen, michelle had to find new ways to conduct business, spread awareness, and bring in clients.

So, what did Michelle do?

Optimizing your YouTube Channel

Michelle shared that YouTube is an underutilized channel for entrepreneurs. She was spot on when she said that YouTube is the second most popular search engine. When starting a channel, half the battle, as everywhere on the internet, is getting found. But that can only be done with the best search terms. Michelle brilliantly shared that those terms are revealed in the search on YouTube. How? By using the results of searches for your content. Enter the general terms from those results, grab the key words in the videos it finds. Also, use a site called VIDIQ. This site will offer free insights to grow a YouTube channel and reviews. She shared that has truly helped her grow her channel’s reach.

Another tactic to developing YouTube content is to start answering the top three questions asked by a target audience. If you do not know them, send out a poll or ask your clients for them. Then, answer those top questions in a YouTube video. This process can become organic through all the social media channels. At the bottom of each post, ask, “Have questions? Submit them below.” Then answer them on YouTube and return to the post where the question originated to let the person know it was answered!

Ebay Customer Service Phone Number

If you are stuck on an issue and would like to call Ebay's Customer Service Phone number it can be hard to find. If you go through their help on their website it will funnel you through questions to try to solve your issue first. Then if you continue then you will be prompted to have them call you back or you will be directed to "Chat with Us". If you have experience fraudulent activity with your Ebay account then this is the only phone number that they give out: 1-866-961-9253. In the recording it says that this line is for fraudulent activity only and if you need help with customer service then you will need to activate their features inside their help part of their website as mentioned above. Here is that link for that: www.ebay.com/help/call_us?type=ContactUs&initFrom=HOME&topicId=4000
Please note that they are in the PST time zone in California, US, so if you are calling from EST time in Florida, US like I would be, then you may want to wait until about 8 am EST to try calling so they will be available.
One more helpful tip, once you have clicked into that link above, then scroll to the bottom to find the "Contact Us" button and continue to follow the prompts that apply to your situation.
Ebay has developed their help features to try to answer your questions or solve your problems with their help articles first, then if you tell the website you are still stuck and that didn't answer your question then you will be prompted on the left to have Ebay call you back or activate their "Chat with Us" feature.
